چکیده
Abstract The Asmari reservoir in Haftkel field is one of the most prolific naturally fractured reservoirs Zagros folded zone southwest Iran. primary production was commenced 1928 and continued until 1976 with a plateau rate 200,000 bbl/day for several years. There an initial gas cap on oil column. Gas injection June so far, 28% place have been recovered. As far as we concerned, fracture network key factor sustaining production; therefore, it needs to be characterized results deployed designing new wells sustain future production. Multidisciplinary evaluation from well scale great privilege improve model’s accuracy enhancing reliability development plan efficient manner. Fracture identification modeling usually establish at translate using analytical or numerical algorithms limited tie-points between wells. Evaluating data can significantly conventional workflow where inter-well information available. By incorporating those evidences, optimized further lateral vertical connectivity concern. This paper begins characterization whereby all available are evaluated determine patterns extension across field. results, consistent correlation obtained temperature gradient productivity wells, also convection phenomenon confirmed. findings this section help us better understanding network, hydrodynamic communication variation temperature. next step characteristics fractures determined according structural geology stress directions. Also, fault’s related density determined. Meanwhile, into model control distribution thereby representation that used evaluating optimizing plan.

Structural and fracture analysis using EMI and FMI image Log in the carbonate Asmari reservoir (Oligo-Miocene), SW Iran
Assessment of the reservoir structure and determination of theinsitu stress direction arenecessary in oil production optimization andfield development. Today, the application of reservoir software and Image logsplay a central role in resolving this problem. Electricand ultrasonic imaging tools record vast amounts of high-resolution data within the borehole wall. This enables the geoscientists t...
متن کاملFracture Reservoir Characterization by Fiber-optic Distributed Temperature Log
One of the important features of the fiber-optic distributed temperature log is its ability to acquire continuous, instantaneous and simultaneous temperature profile along the entire wellbore. Series of successive temperature profiles sampled every one minute or so enable to analyze transient temperature phenomena, which may pertain to important reservoir properties. For example, when change of...
متن کاملIntegrated Characterization and a Tuning Strategy for the PVT Analysis of Representative Fluids in a Gas Condensate Reservoir
Gas condensate reservoirs are characterized by a distinctive retrograde behavior and potential for condensate drop out during production and sampling. Efficient modeling of gas condensate reservoir requires careful phase behavior studies of samples collected prior to and during the production life of reservoir. In this work, an integrated characterization and tuning algorithm is proposed to ana...
متن کاملA Fully Integrated Method for Dynamic Rock Type Characterization Development in One of Iranian Off-Shore Oil Reservoir
Rock selection in modeling and simulation studies is usually based on two techniques; routinely defined rock types and those defined by special core analysis (SCAL). The challenge in utilizing these two techniques is that they are frequently assumed to be the same, but in practice, static rock-types (routinely defined) are not always representative of dynamic rock-types (SCAL defined) in the re...
